Our mission is to offer temporary lodging services to accommodate:
- Visiting relatives and friends of hospitalized Veterans;
- Relatives of dying patients who wish to be close to their loved one during their final days;
- Veterans and military personnel who benefit from evaluation services and treatments offered on an out-patient basis by the Ste. Anne’s Clinic and the Pain Management Clinic, as well as to their families.
NOTE: All accommodation services are limited in duration and must be related to clinical health care services or verifiable visits to residents.
User fees for Guest house facilities effective April 1st, 2012:
- Large bedroom with two beds, # 4 and # 6 (ground floor):
$60 / night (tax included) – maximum 2 persons;
- Very large bedroom with two beds, # 1 and # 2 (1ST floor):
$60 / night (tax included) – maximum 3 persons;
- Small one bed room # 5 (ground floor):
$40 /night (tax included) – maximum 1 person;
- Small one bed room # 3 (floor):
$40 /night (tax included) – maximum 1 person.
Fees are payable prior to the departure by using the payment form located in each room; or for Veterans who require a proof of payment , by credit card, debit, cheque or cash at the Foundation Office during office hours.
RECEIPTS FOR USER FEES: The Foundation will continue to issue proof of payment to Veterans who make the request in order to get a full refund for their lodging fees from Veterans Affairs Canada. However, since user fees for the Guest House cannot be considered a charitable donation, the Foundation will not issue official receipts for Income Tax purposes.
Reservation procedures:
Veteran clients of the OSI Clinic and the Pain Management Clinic:
Must make their reservation through the case worker or any other clinical staff member where the client has an appointment. Clinic personnel will communicate with the Foundation.
Visitors (relatives and friends of residents):

The reservation is confirmed by the Foundation staff which will give the guest a reservation number.

WASHROOMS
The washrooms are available for all guests. Please take care not to leave any personal effects in the washrooms. Extra towels are available upon request.
TELEPHONES – LONG DISTANCE CALLS
Guests can use telephones from the House to make local calls (dial 9 before the number) or to contact a department of the Hospital (4 digits).
NO SMOKING PLEASE
For safety and hygienic reasons, it is strictly forbidden to smoke in the Guest House. Thank you for understanding.
USING THE KITCHEN
The kitchen is available for guests. You will find what is needed to make coffee and tea. These items are furnished by the Foundation. The cleanliness of the kitchen is the responsibility of the guests. Please note that the oven is not in function for security purposes. Thank you for your cooperation.
MEALS
The Hospital offers a cafeteria and a canteen (fast food) for your convenience. Many affordable restaurants can be found in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue (only a 15 minute walk from the hospital).
KEYS
You are responsible for your key. You must return it to the Security Desk by 11 a.m. on the day of your departure to allow us to prepare the room for the next visitors.
ANIMALS
Animals are strictly forbidden in the Guest House.
